If you are not using a SILK Wrapper, Localist provides a Custom CSS interface to make basic customizations on surface-level design elements, such as colors, fonts, or sizes.
Default CSS Interface
In your admin dashboard, navigate via Settings > Appearance
2. Select the Edit Colors, Fonts & CSS button next to the theme you wish to edit.
If you are editing the theme marked as Active, then any Custom CSS that is added will be live when saved. On the Edit Colors, Fonts & CSS page you will see three ways to customize your platform: Variants, Interface Defaults and Custom CSS.
- Save Changes: This will save and deploy all changes in either the interface default options or in the Custom CSS box.
- Reset Colors and Fonts: This will remove all customizations and will revert the interface options back to the default and the CSS box back to empty.
3. Select a Variant
Out of the box, Localist offers three variants that can be used as the base of your theme: default (left), Localist (center) and dark (right).
4. Default CSS
These options display the live, platform wide CSS rules. What is displayed as the “default” is dependent upon what variant you have chosen to build from.
